Perk up your vacation or weekend by taking a ride along the miles of scenic pathways, including the shell-filled beaches of Sanibel Island. The Bike Bistro offers a worry-free riding experience. All of our rental bikes are kept in peak condition by the “Head Wrench.” From one-speed beach cruiser bikes to premium carbon road bikes, The Bike Bistro has bike rental options for any rider and ride. More of a “concierge” bike rental service, we have fewer but nicer rental bikes with a focus on service. Local bicycle delivery is available.
The Menu: Daily and Weekly Bike Rental Rates
- Hybrid Multi-Speed Bikes starting at $30.00 per day and up to $75 per week
- Adult Tricycle starting at $20.00 per day and up to $65 per week
- 24” Kids Multi-Speed starting at $25 per day and up to $50 per week
- Standard Road Bike with aluminum frame and carbon fork starting at $60 per day and up to $120 per week
- EBikes starting at $80 per day and up to $165 per week
- Premium Road Bike with carbon frame and fork starting at $95 per day and up to $195 per week
- Don’t forget the helmet: Child helmets are required for kids 16 years and under and included in with a Kids Bike rental. Adult helmets, if requested are $5 for the duration of your rentals.
Bicycle rentals are also available by the month.
Advance credit card payment, a signed waiver and drivers license are required for all bike rentals.

Additional Rental Policies
- PLEASE NOTE: The Bike Bistro DOES NOT allow outside tools to be used on our bikes.
- The Bike Bistro will apply your bike fit numbers as closely as possible based on stock rental bike components and geometry.
- A Roadside Rescue Kit is provided with Road Bikes including spare tube, Co2 cartridge, trigger, tire levers and Schrader valve adapter. Tubes and Co2 will be replaced during your rental at no cost if needed.
- For all Road Bike Rentals, please specify pedal choice (or let us know if you are bringing your own pedals and helmet)
- Flat Pedals and Toe Cages are available. If you have your own clip-ins, please bring them and our mechanics can install them
- SPD, SPD-SL, Keo pedals are available for rent for $5 for the duration of your rental (limited supply available).
- Handle Bar Bag (Hybrids), locks, and maps are provided free with rentals.
- DELIVERY: Contact us regarding rental delivery and areas served! (no delivery for road bikes) Advance notice required. The minimum delivery charge is $35. IMPORTANT: Include delivery address info during checkout.
- Please include any additional information while making your reservation (eg. helmets, locks, baskets, etc.).
- We also offer a boxing and shipping service for your vacations. Please contact us for estimates.
Reservation Policies
- Rental rates are based on business days. That means the day you pick up the bike and the day it is returned are included as rental days. Extra days will be charge per day based on rate card.
- The Bike Bistro does not give credits or refunds for early returns.
- Reservation date changes made 24 hours or more before originally scheduled pick-up will be accommodated if possible.
